We build AI tools that solve real problems

Most AI tools are built by people who've never done the job. We've worked in Big4 consulting, delivered ServiceNow implementations for Fortune 500 companies, and felt the pain of repetitive tasks that AI should already be handling.

Every ThriveCraft product comes from a real need. ThriveAssist was born from 200+ hours of answering the same ServiceNow questions. ping-mem came from watching AI agents lose context mid-conversation. ThrivTree came from watching students make career decisions with zero guidance.

Real problems first

We don't build features. We solve problems. Every product in the portfolio started with a painful, recurring frustration.

Ship fast, iterate faster

We'd rather get working software in your hands and improve it than spend months perfecting something nobody's used.

Craft matters

The name means something to us. Good software is crafted — with care, attention, and respect for the people using it.

The Person Behind the Products

US
Uma Sankr
Founder & Builder, ThriveCraft AI

Uma brings a decade of enterprise consulting experience from Big4 advisory firms, specialising in ServiceNow implementations, IT transformation, and process automation for global organisations. After delivering AI projects inside large enterprises, the gap became clear: the tools available were either too expensive, too generic, or too American-centric to work for the actual problems on the ground.

ThriveCraft AI is the answer to that gap — a portfolio of six AI products built with the same rigour as enterprise software, but priced and designed for the real world. The mission is straightforward: make world-class AI accessible, starting with India.

When not building products, Uma writes about AI, ServiceNow, and the craft of software on LinkedIn and GitHub.

What We Stand For

These aren't marketing words. They shape every product decision we make.

🔒

Privacy First

Your data is not our product. We don't sell data, don't train models on your usage, and don't track you across the web. DPDPA and GDPR compliance is built-in, not bolted on. ThrivTree never shares student data with third parties — full stop.

🔓

Open Source Where Possible

ping-mem and ping-guard are MIT licensed and free forever. We believe the infrastructure layer should be open. Inspect our code. Audit our security. Fork it, modify it, deploy it. Vendor lock-in is not something we want for ourselves or our users.

🇮🇳

India Pricing for the World

Great software should not require a San Francisco salary to use. We set INR prices at purchasing-power parity, not simple currency conversion. ping-learn Premium at ₹500/month is not a discount — it's the right price for the value delivered in the Indian market.

🎯

Quality Over Quantity

Six products is not a lot. Each one is in a portfolio because it belongs there — because it solves a real problem well. We'd rather have fewer products that work reliably than a sprawling catalogue of half-finished features. When we ship, it works.

🇮🇳

India Builds World-Class Products

Zoho serves 80 million users globally from Chennai. Freshworks reached $1B revenue from Bengaluru. Razorpay processes hundreds of billions in transactions from a small team. World-class software is not a geography problem.

ThriveCraft AI is part of that tradition. We're not building for India instead of the world — we're building for India and the world. The best validation of Indian product quality is a product that can compete globally.

The ThriveCraft Story

2024 — The Problem

200 hours of answering the same question

After years in ServiceNow consulting, one pattern became impossible to ignore: teams spent enormous time asking questions that had been answered before. The knowledge existed — it just wasn't accessible. ThriveAssist was conceived.

2025 — The Infrastructure

AI agents that forget — and the fix

Building ThriveAssist exposed the core problem with AI agents: they have no persistent memory. ping-mem was built as the solution — a universal memory layer that any AI agent can use. Open sourced as MIT to give back to the developer community.

2025 — Education

Learning at its own pace

ping-learn and ThrivTree joined the portfolio. The insight: AI tutoring should be personal, adaptive, and not locked behind expensive certification programs. ThrivTree serves students who need career guidance but can't afford a counsellor.

2025–Present — Expanding

Trading & observability

ping-guard rounds out the portfolio. The full stack is now in place: enterprise AI, developer infrastructure, and education — all built in Bengaluru.
